John Blackie identified this Bradley cab as as "an old Checker". Bradley had a stand at Winnipeg's Fort Garry Hotel, one of a chain of prestigious hotels operated by the Canadian National Railway. The cabs were painted brown.
George Ewing points out that the dimensions of the license plate (about four and a half inches high) indicate that the date of the photo is between 1920 and 1923. Later Manitoba plates are taller.
