

Most of George Moore's competitors did not have much money to spend on illustrated newspaper ads, but at least two Winnipeg cab companies got some help from one of their suppliers.
As part of its own campaign, General Tire shared advertising space with taxi and trucking firms whose fleets were equipped with "Jumbo" balloon tires. In Winnipeg, Ferguson Taxi and Pat's Auto Taxi (next page) benefitted from this arrangement.
