Jacques Coté
Victoriaville, QC / October 30, 1961

During the night of Monday/Tuesday October 30/31, 1961, Victoriaville driver Jacques Coté, 22, radioed his dispatcher that he was on a trip out of town. When he did not return the following morning his father, Aimé, began looking for him and found the cab parked behind a local hotel. On opening the trunk he discovered his son's body.

An autopsy recovered bullets from Coté's head and stomach. The radio had been ripped out of the cab.

Police questioned six people for several hours but later released them.
