Alexandre Drolet

Alexandre Drolet, 63, was found dead in his cab on Diab street in a St. Laurent industrial park.
The 20-year-old killer had systematically slashed Drolet's face and neck and then fled the cab leaving behind some of his own possessions. About an hour after Drolet's body was discovered the killer phoned police to tell them about the murder.
The killer was mentally disturbed and robbery was apparently not the motive. Drolet died from the effects of the attack in combination with heart disease.
The killer was tried and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
