The body of cab-driver Fernand Talbot was found in a warehouse parking lot in St. Laurent. He had been stabbed several times.
His killer had murdered two other people in the previous two days and had also served time for killing another man in 1986. While awaiting trial the killer stabbed another inmate to death and hanged himself in jail in 1995.
