Picture (left): On the driver's seat of her "taxi" she's on her high horse on principle.

The hat tells us that this pinup card was inspired by the femmes cocher. Also interesting is the use of the word "taxi" to refer to a horse-cab. At this stage of history any cab could be a taxi as long as it were equipped with a taximeter.
