Author: JOE DARBY West Bank bureau Date: Aug 21, 1997 Section: METRO Text Word Count: 377 "A fingerprint of murder defendant Elbert Ratcliff was found on a business card inside the taxi of a Jefferson Parish cabdriver killed two years ago, a jury heard Wednesday. Jefferson Parish sheriff's Sgt. Patricia Lusk testified that she found 20 cards on the driver's side floorboard of John Adams' King Cab and that one of those cards had Ratcliff's fingerprint on it. She said she recovered the cards after the cab was towed to the detective bureau garage the day of the killing. Another business card found on the ground by detectives at the murder scene also had Ratcliff's fingerprint, Lusk said. Adams was found shot to death in his taxi two days after Christmas 1995 in the 700 block of Calhoun Street in Metairie.
