Murder hunt as taxi driver is found shot

POLICE have launched a murder hunt for a killer who shot an Asian man
in the head at the offices of a taxi firm.

Police named the victim as 33-year-old Mohammed Basharat from the Heaton
area of Bradford.

Officers were called to the Little Horton Private Hire company in Park
Lane, Little Horton, Bradford, at 8.35pm on Saturday.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said:

"First aid was given to him but he was pronounced dead at the scene."

Taxi driver Mr Basharat was the father of four children aged nine to 13.
