Taxi driver shot dead in his driveway

A 42-year-old taxi driver was shot dead in his taxi at Kraaifontein 
near Cape Town on Wednesday, police said.

Captain Randall Stoffels said Xolile Mbanyarhu was found dead 
at about 4.30am in his taxi at his driveway in Bharu Street, 
Wallacedene, Kraaifontein.

He said unidentified men fired three shots at Mbanyarhu, hitting 
him in the head and chest.

"The motive and circumstances surrounding the incident are 
being investigated," he said.

Police were investigating a murder case
