Cab driver murdered

BANGALORE: A call centre cab driver was hacked to death in J.P. Nagar
police station limits on Monday morning.

The police gave his name as Sridhar (28) of Shakambarinagar in 2nd
Phase, J.P. Nagar. Around 8.30 a.m. passers-by found Sridhar's body lying
next to his car near GKM College in Jaraganahalli. The assailants had
stabbed him in the abdomen, apparently after pulling him out of the car. He
had suffered three stab wounds, the police said.

The J.P. Nagar police, who have registered a case, said they were yet to
ascertain the motive behind the killing. Sridhar was the driver of a car that
was on hire to Symphony, a call centre situated on Sarjapur Road, the
police said.
