James Sutton - June, 1994

"Heidi Murrhee, a co-owner of White Fleet Cabs, 1629 Gentilly Blvd., said
that dispatchers for both day and night remarked how hard Sutton was
working. As soon as his cab was free, he responded to the next call, she
said.

Sutton used to chat with Murrhee, who said he seemed to be very religious.
"He had been married about two years, maybe less, and he and (his wife)
Regina didn't have any children," Murrhee said. She added that Regina
Sutton was too distraught to talk Tuesday, but a family member told her no
funeral arrangements had been made.

Sutton was the third New Orleans area taxi driver to be slain in a robbery
so far this year. On Feb. 12, Robert Zaldo, 21, of St. Bernard Parish, was
found shot to death in his Arabi Cab near Earhart Boulevard and South
Galvez Street in New Orleans. April 1, United Cab driver Harrel Clark, 45,
of New Orleans was found shot to death in his cab in the 2300 block of
Canal Street.
