Donald Bothwell

Donald Bothwell, 59, drove for Blue Bird Taxi in Kapuskasing, Ontario. He lived in Opasatika, about 40 km west of Kapuskasing along Highway 11.

He was last seen alive about 4 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009. At about 1 p.m. he was found dead behind the wheel of his taxi on the Gurney Road, an isolated gravel road in Kapuskasing, about a mile north of Highway 11. He had been robbed and murdered.

On the second anniversary of his death the Government of Ontario offered a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for Mr. Bothwell's murder.
