Strollers on avenue Foch. Called avenue du Bois de Boulogne until 1929 when it was renamed in honour of war hero Ferdinand Foch, avenue Foch runs from the Arc de Triomphe to the edge of Bois de Boulogne park and is lined with chestnut trees all the way. It has always been a highly desirable residential street, comparable to New York's Park Avenue. Photo by Séeberger (frères).
